‘Andalucia’

Andalucia, Spain. Memories of exploring tiny, white washed villages in the hills, bathed in golden evening sunlight.

Time out, spent just outside Malaga. I would wake, as usual, long before the sun rose. Sitting under the open skies on the verandah. Peace pervades, and the light emerges. Waiting for the sun, the sky starts to glow, soft, silken, muted colours.

I’m very fond of this part of Spain, Andalucia. The scorched landscape, dotted with pine forest, Olive and poplars in the distance. Long drives and lunch in the hills. Almonds unique to the venta twist machines. Chilled red wine and tapas. Just heaven!
